Early Literacy Wizard, founded
by Dr. Orna Ariel Lenchner, is dedicated to early identification and
remediation of children at risk for reading and spelling difficulties.
We provide consultation to schools, conduct workshops for teachers
and parents, develop materials to promote phonological awareness,
phonics and spelling skills, conduct assessments of children, and
provide individualized remedial instruction for children in the early
elementary grades. Dr. Lenchner is nationally recognized for her products
to promote phonological awareness skills and is also the author of
pioneer contributions to early Hebrew literacy.
Bridging the Gap: First Grade Reading Readiness

Dr. Lenchner will work with groups of up to five children on skills essential for reading success through chants, playful activities and systematic instruction. A strong emphasis will be put on Phonemic Awareness, a skill essential for early reading development. You can enroll your child in either the morning group (10:00- 12:00 ) or the afternoon group (4:00 -6:00). See application and letter to parents.
